Devil May Cry HD Collection coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One - Yuri Araujo > Manage Blog

Capcom this morning announced that a trio of old-school Devil May Cry titles are headed to the PS4, Xbox One and PC early next year in the Devil May Cry HD Collection. It seems like the only upgrade will be the games are locked to 60fps and will run in a higher resolution, they seem to be ports rather than remasters. The same applies to 2003's Devil May Cry 2, while the Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition was afforded a PC release ahead of its European console counterpart in 2006.

Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition quickly took the spotlight as a fan favorite with the addition of combat Styles that significantly change the way you slay demons.

Note that Devil May Cry 4 and Ninja Theory's 2013 DmC reboot don't feature in this package.

Devil May Cry HD Collection is out March 13, 2018 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC for $29.99.

He then goes on to explain that the HD Collection is geared towards people who never got the chance to play the original trilogy of games, and that it will offer a more modern experience with "silky smooth 60 frames per second" and updated visuals.

This HD collection contains both the original introduction to the series with the first game, and the prequel story featuring a younger Dante with Devil May Cry 3.
