AFC Playoff Picture: Who will the Chiefs face in round one?

Seven out of the eight divisions have been decided. Four teams are still in the hunt for the AFC's two Wild Card spots, which should make for an interesting afternoon slate on Sunday. All week 17 games in the National Football League are on New Year's Eve next week.

Outside of all the playoff-related action, upsets, and non-Kelvin Benjamin catches, what happened in some of the lesser-known matchups around the league in Week 16 of the 2017 season?

If the Steelers win, the Patriots can still clinch home-field next week with a victory over the New York Jets.

Both the Patriots and Steelers play at 1pm on Sunday.

-The Titans need a win and a Ravens loss.

The Chargers have the edge on the Bills for that final spot because they beat the Bills earlier this season, and if the Chargers beat the Raiders at home, the Titans lose, the Ravens win or the Bills lose to the Miami Dolphins, Los Angeles would get the final spot in the AFC playoffs. The Chiefs will face either the Ravens, Bills or Titans in round one of the playoffs.

Stop us if you've heard this one before-the Patriots will have a first-round bye in the playoffs. If Carolina wins, they can potentially earn the NFC's No.2 seed, though that would still be hard.

If the season ended today: The Jaguars would host the No. 6 Titans in the wild-card round. But later, Garoppolo would shine, completing 21 of 30 passes for 242 yards and two TDs as his San Francisco 49ers beat the Jacksonville Jaguars and their top-ranked defense.

Congratulations to the Rams, who won the NFC West for the first time in 14 years.

Tennessee Titans - Still control their own destiny.

Buffalo wasn't eliminated following Sunday's loss in New England, but they are a long shot to end their lengthy postseason drought.

Kansas City could face one of three teams from that group in round one.

Los Angeles Chargers (8-7): The Chargers need help to get into the playoffs.

Tennessee (8-7): The Titans clinch a spot with a win over the Jaguars. In addition, the Ravens need to defeat the Bengals.

Those are the NFL Scenarios heading into Christmas Day and NFL Week 17. Carolina will win the NFC South with a win over the Falcons and a Saints loss to the Buccaneers in Week 17.

A win over the Oakland Raiders on Monday night would clinch home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

The NFC North is the only division that still hasn't been clinched.

The Minnesota Vikings (12-3) will be the No. 2 seed in the playoff structure if they can beat the Chicago Bears in the season finale on December 31, and it's unlikely they will fall out of that position.

The Panthers are in the playoffs and have the most seeding volatility of any team in the NFC.
