Whirlpool Corp. gets an 'A' on LGBTQ equality

Armstrong Teasdale, a law firm with offices across the USA, proudly announces that it received the highest possible score on the 2018 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) workplace equality.

A record-breaking 609 businesses earned a score of 100 from the HRC in the new report, up from 517 past year.

Working with HCSC's Center for Diversity and Inclusion (CDI), which manages diversity and inclusion initiatives in the workplace, Pride Alliance helped introduce an online provider directory in October 2017, through GLMA: Health Professionals Advancing LGBT Equality, to provide information and resources to LGBTQ members and their families. PVH joined the ranks of 609 major USA and global companies that also earned top marks this year. This marks the 11 consecutive year that Time Warner has received this honor.

The Human Rights Campaign Foundation is the educational arm of America's largest civil rights organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual transgender and queer people. "I'm so thankful to work at a law firm that understands the importance of inclusion and diversity for both attorneys and staff". Ameriprise received a ideal score by satisfying all criteria within five categories to once again earn a "Best Place to Work" designation for LGBTQ equality.

Rockwell Automation Earns 100 percent on Human Rights Campaign Foundation's 16th Annual Scorecard on LGBTQ Workplace Equality. While the law firm Frost Brown Todd is based in Cincinnati, it has a large office in Louisville and repeated its ideal score of 100 in this year's report.

The 2018 Corporate Equality Index rated 945 businesses with 609 earning top markings, including Apple, Nike, Macys, Pandora, Sirius XM, Sony, Viacom and Walt Disney Co. Armstrong Teasdale is listed in the Am Law 200, published by The American Lawyer, and the NLJ 250, published by The National Law Journal.
