"Star Wars: The Last Jedi" doesn't open in theaters until December 15, but Disneyland visitors who board a vehicle on the Star Tours attraction will get an early glimpse of scenes from the film starting this week.

Johnson helmed the upcoming film "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" and obviously had so much fun doing it, he chose to write and direct a whole new series for the nostalgic franchise.

There will also be some opening night festivities at select IMAX theaters, including a special concession offer and the release of collectible Star Wars trading cards.

Disneyland will add scenes from the newest "Star Wars" movie to its Star Tours attractions Friday, the resort announced in a blog post.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is one of the few movies to propel a previously-unknown actress to A-list stardom in a single film, and Daisy Ridley was lucky enough to have her career take off in the way that it did.

With Daisy Ridley taking center stage, the poster shows Rey turning away from Luke, Leia, and our other heroes, leaning more towards the villainous Kylo Ren and Captain Phasma. A cursory search for Porgs will lead you on a fantastic journey of a special brand of negativity that only a Star Wars fan can conjure and it appears that Mark Hamill has had enough of your Porg hate and has made a decision to step up his already strong online troll status.

"Given the fact that Andy Serkis has said that Supreme Leader Snoke is a very vulnerable character...[who's] in a sedentary state, so he's only in his throne for the most part, I believe this Project Resurrection eventually came out to be that machine that we do see at the very side of Snoke's throne, within his throne room". And we probably won't find out until it opens!
