Lindsay Menz of Texas told CNN that Franken put his hand on her bottom while the pair were posing for a photo at the Minnesota State Fair in 2010.

Behold! The inflated marketing of TV sweeps month!

ABC's 'Good Morning America' interviewed her Wednesday about the incident.

Asked what her immediate reaction was, Menz said: 'I was surprised, and kind of wondering, "Did that really just happen?"'

Gov. Mark Dayton says he reached out to Sen.

Doug Heye, a former top aide to former Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.), said Tuesday that the mounting allegations should serve as a wake-up call to lawmakers on both sides of the aisle.

Franken has asked the Senate Ethics Committee to look into the allegation.

Among Democrats, 34 percent said he should remain in office, 14 percent said he should resign and 46 percent said he should wait for the results of the investigation.

'It was wrapped tightly around my butt cheek, ' she said then.

When it comes to the credibility of an accuser's claims with regard to President Donald Trump, who was accused of inappropriate sexual conduct by more than a dozen women following last year's release of a 2005 "Access Hollywood" tape, the survey found Republicans were more likely to cast doubt on the allegations. It was definitely on my butt'.

At the time, Menz posted the picture to Facebook - and her sister commented that the two were very close in the shot. "I feel badly that Ms. Menz came away from our interaction feeling disrespected".

News anchor Leeann Tweeden accused Franken on Thursday of forcibly kissing her and groping her on a USO tour in 2006. Menz also said she posted the photo with Franken on Facebook on August 27, and when her sister commented on the photo, she replied: "Dude - Al Franken TOTALLY molested me!"

He faces an investigation by the Senate Ethics Committee.
