LeBron ejected for first time in career

Boos rained down from Cleveland fans when the 32-year-old was tossed with two minutes remaining in the third quarter against his former team, the Miami Heat.

James was angered at the lack of a foul call on a drive to the basket on which he came up empty.

Kanter, who is very active on Twitter, took to the social media platform to take a jab at James by calling the referee who ejected James, Kane Fitzgerald, the 'King of Cleveland'.

Fitzgerald was asked by a pool of reporters about the ejection and clarified that he did not issue a second technical, but chose to eject LeBron off of one technical.

LeBron James finished with a tally of 21 points, 12 rebounds, six assists and five steals, a stat line he achieved for the sixth time in his career, per ESPN Stats & Info. "Immediately after the no-call, he turned and threw an air punch directly at me and then he aggressively charged at me and then he used vulgarity in my ear a few times".

Historically, James has largely avoided discipline from referees. It was the first time James has been thrown out in 1,082 career games. "I showed my frustration to the ref and he sent me to the locker room".

Despite James' ejection, the Cavaliers defeated the Heat 108-97, continuing their winning streak to nine games.

But after getting ejected, James wanted to make a point that he's being officiated differently to the point he believes they're trying to change his game.
