Honor V10 launched with 5.99-inch full-screen display, dual rear cameras

AI-powered Honor V10 with FullView Display & Kirin 970 SoC Launched in China

After being spotted at China's TENAA regulatory agency website, Huawei's Honor V10 has broke cover in China. The reports suggests that the Honor V10 smartphone is planning to make its way to the Indian market soon. Honor is also hosting a launch event in London on December 5 where it is expected to announce the Honor V10. On the front of the phone will be a single 13MP camera, which means no "four cameras" on this one from Honor. The back is also similar to the Honor 7X, only the antenna lines here have been pushed to the edges.

As far as specs are concerned, the smartphone arrives with a large 5.99-inch full HD+ display with the screen resolution of 2,160×1,080 pixels and the aspect ratio of 18:9.

Honor V10 is powered by the Kirin 970 chipset - Honor's first System on Chip (SoC) with a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) that promises an affordable AI ecosystem.

The smartphone comes with 6GB of RAM and will be available in 64GB & 128GB storage options. Inbuilt storage on the smartphone is either 64GB or 128GB, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 256GB) in a hybrid dual-SIM configuration.

Moreover, the Honor V10 runs on Android Oreo out-of-the-box with Huawei's custom skin on top. However, the Chinese version will be offering additional services like the AI-powered virtual assistant.

Honor has also partnered with Microsoft for its translation tools, which are integrated into the V10. Honor and DJI partnered to offer voice-based features for its drone users.

The rear camera setup on the smartphone sports two sensors - one 16-megapixel RGB sensor and the other a 20-megapixel monochrome sensor, complete with an f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, dual-LED flash. The device measures just 6.95mm thickness and includes a 3,750mAh non-removable battery. The handset houses a 3750mAh battery with support for SuperCharge fast charging.

Talking about the pricing, the Honor V10 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at 2699 Yuan (approx $410 / Rs. 26,300). It is now available for pre-orders and the sale will begin from December 5th in China.
