Harrison Ford helps out in traffic accident

Actor Harrison Ford lent a hand to first responders after a driver veered off a highway in Santa Paula and crashed into an embankment Sunday. Witnesses say Ford was driving behind her when she lost control.

The victim was eventually transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. They both then pulled over and made their way towards the vehicle to help the woman.

He says Ford and other people on scene were able to help the woman out of the vehicle. The California Highway Patrol is now investigating the incident.

The 75 year old recently starred in Blade Runner 2049 and is set to reprise his role in the fifth installment of the Indiana Jones series, which is due for release in 2020. Ford, known as an avid pilot, had reportedly been at the airport earlier in the day, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

In September, Ford was caught directing traffic in New York City after an accident caused major traffic jams.

It certainly makes a refreshing change for Ford to not be directly involved in a vehicular incident.
