FFXV's Noctis to be playable in Tekken 7 in 2018

The DLC pack will also include a new Final Fantasy XV inspired stage, which takes place in the vehicle park of a Mini Mart, where a few familiar faces spectate on the action.

Bandai Namco has been supporting Tekken 7 with new characters and stages and now the developer has announced Final Fantasy XV's protagonist Noctis Lucis Caelum as a playable DLC character.

He may seem a odd addition to Tekken 7, but the series has featured guest characters in the past, including Akuma from the Street Fighter series.

Noctis is the third DLC for Tekken 7. Bandai Namco has also rolled out a trailer which you can see above.

Despite a lack of additional story content, many Final Fantasy 15 fans are excited about Noctis' arrival in Tekken 7 as it is just the latest crossover between Final Fantasy 15 and other games.

The inclusion of Noctis in Tekken is certainly a surprising one, but it's not like Final Fantasy characters haven't turned up in fighting games before.

The Noctis reveal was also accompanied by some more Tekken 7 news. Tekken 7 is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
