Criminal shootout in Delhi, four arrested

On Tuesday Early Morning Delhi Police Opened Fire at notorious gang of criminals, when Punjab and Delhi Cops had gone for a raid at the office of a property dealer near Dwarka More in south west Delhi.

According to the Hindustan Times report, the suspects were involved in several crimes including carjacking.

A brief encounter broke out between criminals and the Punjab Police. "These men were wanted in at least three cases of murder or attempts to murder in Punjab", said Chahal.

"The weapons recovered from them are five.32 Bore with 100 cartridges, five.315 Bore with 12 cartridges, one.315 Bore Rifle, one 12 Bore Rifle and five.22 bore pistol", added the officer. The local district police assisted them in the operation. He said that right before the firing started, three vehicles full of policemen had arrived outside the building. Further Investigation is going, the official added.
