Chelsea Champions League - 23 November 2017

Luiz, 30, was dropped for the Blues' last game before the worldwide break-the 1-0 home win against United-and his replacement, Andreas Christensen, enjoyed an impressive performance.

With Qarabag the whipping boys of the group, Antonio Conte will likely want to rotate the team as the Blues prepare for the hectic December fixtures.

Chelsea will qualify for the Champions League Round of 16 should they leave with all 3 points against Qarabag this evening and may even qualify with a draw if Atletico Madrid fail to beat Roma tonight.

It is a 5,000-mile round trip to Azerbaijan and back, but the Blues will fancy their chances having defeated Qarabag 6-0 in the first meeting between the two sides at Stamford Bridge.

Qarabag sits in last place on the Group C table with two points from four matches.

The Blues are now second in Group C and have made the 5,000-mile round trip to face Qarabag.

Boss Antonio Conte must make do without wing-back Victor Moses, who is out with a hamstring injury, while attackers Charly Musonda and Michy Batshuayi are sidelined with knee and ankle injuries, respectively.

Regardless of the slight problems Chelsea face in relation to their squad size, recent domestic victories and the prize of knockout round qualification should be enough to get Conte's men through this one.
