Arkansas QB Cole Kelley charged with driving while intoxicated after LSU loss

University of Arkansas QB Cole Kelley Arrested for DWI

- Arkansas quarterback Cole Kelley was arrested Sunday in connection with driving while intoxicated, careless driving and violating the state's implied consent law, according to the Washington County Detention Intake report.

Cole Kelley was pulled over at 4:00 a.m. and taken into custody about 15 minutes later. After pulling over the truck, the officer observed the driver had "red and watery" eyes.

"We are gathering all information from the proper authorities and will make a determination upon review of that information", the statement said, via SECCountry. Bond for Kelly was set at $935, and records indicate Kelly was released from the Washington County Jail at 11:46 a.m.

Arkansas lost 33-10 to LSU on Saturday and Kelley was 3-of-10 passing for 36 yards and one interception in relief of starter Austin Allen.

"It's not good for the team", said Joseph Winn, "and it's not good for the university". "I got no response about how they're going this year, they suck".
