The latest clip comes just days after the final trailer for season two of Stranger Things was released by Netflix. There's a telltale trickle of blood emanating from her nose indicating the use of her mind powers.

The dramatic trailer sees Eleven opening a locked door with her superpowers as she shows off her curly new hair.

The new season seems to pick up with Eleven on the same night we last saw her in the classroom at Hawkins Middle School. Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven, introduces the footage.

On a scale of 1 -10, how excited are you for season 2 of Stranger Things?

"It's 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab".

New cast additions include Sadie Sink (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), Dacre Montgomery (Power Rangers), Brett Gelman (Blunt Talk, The Other Guys), newcomer Linnea Berthelsen and '80s icons Sean Astin (The Goonies) and Paul Reiser (Aliens).

The clip, released Friday, begins with Eleven retrieving her favorite snack, an Eggo waffle from a container in the snow. While it remains unclear whether or not the petal faced monster is still alive the Upside Down, we now know Eleven survived when she tore a hole in the fabric of space-time and teleported herself back to the shadow realm.

Will Byers is back but something sinister is still haunting the town, and it's up to Mike, Dustin, Lucas - and Eleven - to get to the bottom of it.

Things are getting even stranger as the Netflix series is getting darker and upping the thrill factor.
