Steelers WR Martavis Bryant has requested a trade

Report: Steelers' Bryant requests to be traded

In addition to the recent holdout by Le'Veon Bell and a rare sideline eruption by Antonio Brown, receiver Martavis Bryant has reportedly requested a trade.

"In his first year back from a suspension, Martavis Bryant was integrated slowly into the offense".

Bryant was suspended for nearly 18 months for violating the league's substance abuse policy and was cleared for regular season practices and games on September 1. Bryant seemed to respond to that report with a tweet later on Sunday night that expressed a different feeling about being on the Steelers. He had only three targets in the Steelers' win against the Chiefs Sunday, finishing with two catches for 27 yards.

This season, the fourth-year receiver has only 15 catches for 204 yards, with one touchdown.

Early indications are the Steelers do not plan to trade Bryant, per sources.

The Steelers have not yet released a statement on Bryant's reported request.
