Oreo is introducing a number of changes to the Xperia XZ Premium. The Predictive Capture starts buffering images when the camera detects a smile and offers up to four options to pick from. The latest update also brings some improved sound quality with tuning improvements to the front-facing stereo speakers, and Qualcomm aptX HD audio support for high-quality sounds when using wireless headphones.

The company has confirmed to release Android Oreo to Xperia X, Xperia X Performance, Xperia XZ, Xperia X Compact, Xperia XZs, Xperia XA1, Xperia XA1 Ultra, Xperia Touch and Xperia XA1 Plus. App shortcuts have also been tweaked, with users now able to access the action menus by long-pressing the app icon. It then lets you select the best among them.

Autofocus burst: Recognises, tracks and captures sequences of moving objects in sharp focus for blur-free action shots. Nevertheless, Sony still gets the award for being the first manufacturer to release an Android 8.0 Oreo update for its phones as well as the first manufacturer to release a phone with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. Some users have already received this update while some are still waiting for it.
