No more Firestorm? Victor Garber leaving Legends of Tomorrow

'DC's Legends Of Tomorrow': Series Regular To Exit CW Series

Then again, cast turnover is the one constant on Legends of Tomorrow, which has always been meant to have a rotating group of characters.

"DC's Legends of Tomorrow" season 3 may be the final regular season for one of the show's main cast members.

One of the best examples of this comes is actor Victor Garber and his character Dr. Martin Stein, who is one half of the combustibles superhero Firestorm. The cast also includes Brandon Routh, Arthur Darvill, Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Caity Lotz, Franz Drameh, Nick Zano, and Maisie Richardson-Sellers. Rumblings about the actor's exit reportedly first surfaced when the show was wrapping its sophomore run. The two will be taking over for current leads Bette Middler and David Hyde Pierce. The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow air Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m., respectively. TV have yet to comment on the news, Garber's imminent departure was inadvertently made clear in September when it was revealed that Garber would return to Broadway to star in the Tony-winning revival of "Hello, Dolly!".

With Broadway in sight for January and production of Legends in Vancouver, doing both became impossible.

The report states the Broadway show's schedule consists of six days per week, with seven to eight shows per week. He has appeared as a series regular since the show premiered.

Garber's departure will be addressed in season three of Legends, though given the time-travel nature of the series, a return is not entirely out of the question. In a show about time travel, anything is possible.
