However, for Season 2, the series may be taking inspiration from David Lynch and David Cronenberg, judging by a disorienting new teaser, titled "Nosebleed".

The Duffers have the dubbed the new entity the "shadow monster", but who knows?

Netflix's Stranger Things made its successful debut on Netflix previous year, introducing the world to Hawkins's version of the Losers Club: Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Will and everyone's favorite superhero, Eleven.

The most intriguing aspect of Stranger Things Season 1 was Eleven, who quickly created a bond with Mike, his friends, and the audience as well. Now, fans will get the chance to see one final trailer for the show before it returns.

If you weren't excited enough for season 2 of Stranger Things then the show's new free-to-play throwback inspired game will surely get you there. For the past few months, Netflix has been releasing posters that pay tribute to classic '80s horror, sci-fi, and fantasy films like Jaws and Evil Dead. For starters, "Madmax" is no doubt a reference to Sadie Sink's new role on the show, a new girl at Hawkins High School named Max. No reports on the titles of the remaining episodes having new names have surfaced yet. In all likelihood, at least one of them will be more than they seem.

Out of everything, the most important glimpse is a possibly a flashback of Eleven's mother Terry Ives, who also was a participant in the Project MKUltra programme conducted by the Central Intelligence Agency at the Hawkins National Lab, and later died due to the consequences.

The new season premieres on Netflix on October 27, so we'll just have to wait until then to see if the last three episode titles are the original names, or something completely different.
