Heated confrontation between Florida doctor and patient

WATCH Florida Doctor Assaults Woman Seizing Phone for Recording him Throwing Mother out of Office

She confronted Dr. Peter Gallogly saying her appointment was at 6.30pm and it was now 7.45pm and the entire argument was videoed by Stipes daughter.

A Florida doctor was captured in a video yelling at a patient, Jessica Stipe, when she complained to him of long waiting time at a clinic in Gainesville.

"I asked for my co pay back so I could leave and go back home to bed and try to be seen elsewhere tomorrow because I'm just that miserable that all I want is my bed", she posted on Facebook.

Stipe said she has contacted an attorney, according to CBS 4. "When he saw it was being recorded he snatched my baby's phone and shoved her when she tried to get it back", she wrote. "Go to the ER and wait for nine hours", the doctor said in the video. Gallogly is heard asking Stipe as she wonders why she hasn't been taken to an exam room more than an hour after her scheduled appointment.

"Are you kidding me?" the doctor asks, his voice raised.

He continues to yell at Stipe as he screams: 'get the f*** out of my office. It's 7:45 and we've already been working on you.

"I want to go home and get in my bed", she replied as he told her to "get the hell out". "You're recording this?" he says, and appears to grab the phone and walk down the hallway.

Witness testimonies described stipe as "irate" and said that she threatened staff, telling them they "have what's coming to them". The clinic didn't respond to the Gainesville Sun's request for comment, either. "You know this was uncalled for & for those of you who don't and are being rude and hateful to me and my child".

The doctor released a statement to FOX 35 saying,"Ms. Stipe had been increasingly belligerent and abusive to office staff, cursing them and threatening them with violence", allegations which she has denied.

He added: "I went to the front desk only because after Ms. Stipe received her refund, she refused to leave the office, and continued her abusive behavior towards staff".

Stipe posted another Facebook status yesterday thanking friends for supporting her.

"At the very end of the events, I most regrettably lost my temper, and spoke to the two women in a most unprofessional manner".

Gallogly apologized in his statement, saying he was defending his staff when he over-reacted, and that there was no excuse for his behavior.
