Heads Up: Assassin's Creed Origins for $48 with Amazon Prime

The Assassin's Creed Origins season pass includes two DLC packs, one of which is all about undead Pharaohs

Ubisoft is preparing to launch a new installment to one of their most beloved franchises, Assassin's Creed. That, for the record, is the cheapest way to get a copy of the game to date. The Hidden Ones will be coming out in January 2018.

The Hidden Ones (DLC 1) - This expansion takes place years after the events of Assassin's Creed Origins in a new region occupied by a Roman force.

Well, I know how I'll be spending 40 hours, then. Within the title, players will be taken to ancient Egypt, featuring a Medjay named Bayek and his means of protecting the people from the chaos erupted in his world. During their journey, players will encounter famed Egyptian beasts such as Anubis warriors, scorpios and more, as they investigate the cause of the curse that has brought the dead pharaohs back to life. This expansion will extend the level cap, allowing players to keep on making their character progress.

To gain access to all of the above, players will need to own the Season Pass, which is included in Assassin's Creed Origins Gold Edition and is also available for purchase separately.

You can't release a AAA game these days without at least a roadmap of post-launch content ready to go.

DLC 2 - The Curse of the Pharaohs: In this story-driven expansion focusing on Egyptian mythology, players will fight against undead pharaohs and explore a new, mystical realm. "The Curse of the Pharaohs" expansion will be released in March 2018.

The Roman Centurion and Horus packs - These exclusive item packs will grant Season Pass holders a new outfit, weapons, shield, and mount when they become available in November of this year.

Ubisoft has announced that the upcoming Assassin's Creed Origins and Far Cry 5 will be playable later this month at the Armageddon Expo. Both are available with the launch of the game. Players can also use the Photo Mode and Horde Mode. The Trials of Gods involve battles against Egyptian Gods and the Nomad's Bazaar gives players daily quests to complete.

Photo Mode also allows the players to turn off "Assassin's Creed Origins" on-screen displays or status updates so that they can capture a better view. The Photo Mode allows players to capture incredible pictures and landscapes around their characters.
