First Look at the 'Roseanne' Revival

ABC shared a photo of the first read-through on Wednesday, giving us an official glimpse at everyone who's back on board.

October 18 is the 29 anniversary of the Roseanne's original premiere on ABC in 1988. We can't wait for the Conner family to be back.

In the new photo, the production team, director, and actors are caught cracking up during a table read on the set. The photo also dropped a huge hint that the beloved Dan Conner will be making an appearance on the show despite his character's death in the series finale.

Gilbert and Tom Werner will also executive produce.

E! reports that the first script for the eight-episode revival is titled Twenty Years Of Life. No sign of The Big Bang Theory's Johnny Galecki, although it has been reported that he has had talks with regards to returning to his role as David. It's unclear how his return will be explained, but according to president of ABC Entertainment Channing Dungey, the revival will otherwise be much the same as its predecessor. with, you know, some modern day changes.

Series Details, Courtesy of ABC: "When it premiered on ABC, the series broke new ground for its realistic portrayal of a working-class family, the Conners, barely scraping by in the fictional town of Lanford, Illinois".
