Election Day Is November 7 - Early voting starts October 19

Absentee voting began October 11th throughout the State of Ohio and will continue up to Election Day on November 7th

Qualified Virginia voters may now vote absentee in-person at their local voter registration office or vote absentee by mail.

Additionally, basically every New York City Council member is up for re-election this year; City Limits has a good guide to who's running in each district.

A steady flow of people took advantage of early voting, which began this morning at the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections. If voters still need to register, residents have until October 30 to visit www.govotecolorado.com to register and receive a ballot through the mail.

Colorado now permits same-day voter registration through Election Day.

If you're not registered to vote and want to cast a ballot on November 7, your deadline is Friday. Voters registering after October 30 need to go to their county's voter service and polling center to request a ballot.

"Absentee voting is a great option that allows Virginians to participate in the upcoming election even if they are unable to make it to the polls on Election Day".

The satellite locations will be open Wednesday through Friday before Election Day, from 8 a.m.to 8 p.m., and on the Saturday before from 8 a.m.to 5 p.m., Dlug said.

In Kings Mountain Ward 3 councilman Tommy Hawkins was running unopposed for reelection but a write-in candidate Gilbert (Pee Wee) Hamrick is asking voters to write his name on the ballot.
