Reports added that the bartender of the club Davido's team and Tagbo hung out confirmed that the deceased had "40 shots of tequila", and that he "exhibited signs of drunkenness". Two other associates of the singer, DJ Olu, 25, and Chime Amaechi, were found lifeless in the former's BMW vehicle parked in the underground garage of Block B, Banana Island, Lagos on Saturday, three days after Tagbo's death.

In a video published on his Instagram account on Wednesday, Davido denounced "lies everywhere" after internet rumours about the deaths.

Mr. Edgal also said that a footage at the hospital picked Davido's escort vehicle and the entire activity.

"It is our intention to know why the victim was taken to General Hospital, Lagos dumped and those who took him there fled the location without as much as notifying the hospital authorities or reporting to the police; that calls for questioning".

On the cause of death of two other Davido's friends who were found dead inside a BMW auto marked KJA631AY on October 7 at Banana Island, Edgal said the autopsy had not been concluded.
