Common Says Jerry Jones Has Slave Owner Mentality

Here's the Ultimatum Jerry Jones Just Gave Cowboys Players Over Anthem

Wade Rathke, chief organizer of Local 100, told the Star-Telegram that the NFL has established that there is no condition of work that requires players to stand during the national anthem. This union was offended by those comments. During the anthem, they stood arm in arm.

Jones said he wants to get the Cowboys out of the national debate, and that his threat of being benched is his way of trying to do so.

Meanwhile, Archer reported a field agent will be tasked with investigating Local 100's allegations.

Watch Common speak with TMZ below to see what he says about Jerry Jones' new demands. Some requirements are that it must be played before every National Football League game, all players must be on the sidelines during the anthem and they should all face the flag with helmets in their left hand. However, Jones took a knee with his club prior to the playing of the anthem before their September 25 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.

"And I think it's incumbent upon the players today, because of how the public is looking at it, to really stand and really salute the flag".

Jones' decision drew praise from President Donald Trump, who previously called for owners to cut "that son of a bitch" who protests social injustice during the anthem.

In an interview with 105.3 The Fan on Tuesday, Jones made his stance on the matter clear.

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick began kneeling during the national anthem before games last year, a move that many NFL teams and players emulated this year to protest racial injustice and police brutality.

Head coach Jason Garrett told reporters Monday neither Irving nor Moore would be disciplined for their actions, per Hairopoulos. "As far as whether or not I will basically institute or basically do what I said, I just would say that the implication that we're not respecting the flag.is just not going to be accepted and so I would just ask anybody to look at my record relative to what I say I'm going to do and you go from there".
