Clemson Tigers at Syracuse Orange

Syracuse has offered promotional ticket prices to select groups for Friday's game against Clemson part of an effort to build up what should be its largest crowd of the season

Clemson has a defense that is holding opponents to just 11.3 points and 264.3 yards per game. The Tigers look to be one a crash course with the Alabama Crimson Tide in the national title for a third straight year. Defensively, Syracuse football yields 24.3 points and 357.7 total yards (226.2 in passing and 131.5 in rushing) per game.

Syracuse (3-3, 1-1) is coming off a 27-24 victory against Pittsburgh that snapped a streak of close defeats.

The game will mark the ninth time since the inception of the Associated Press poll in 1936 that the Orange have played the defending national champion, and they've only won twice - Penn State in 1987 and MI in 1998.

Bryant was 21-for-29 passing for 200 passing yards with a passing touchdown and an interception in the game. They split the rest of the Wake Forest game last week, with Johnson throwing his first TD pass. Eric Dungey has thrown for 1,802 yards and nine touchdowns while Steve Ishmael has caught 56 passes for 729 yards and three scores. The Tigers are also ranked No. 2 in the country in both the AP Poll and the Coaches Poll Top 25 rankings. On offense, Clemson is putting up 35 points and 471 yards per contest.

Clemson quarterback Kelly Bryant is warming up alongside all this teammates before the road matchup with Syracuse at the Carrier Dome on Friday night. In last year's game, Clemson won 54-0. Travis Etienne and Tavien Feaster have combined for 710 rushing yards and seven touchdowns. "I just hope it's a good Friday the 13th". Healthy again, he's anxious to show what he and the Orange offense can do when the second-ranked Tigers (6-0, 4-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) visit the Carrier Dome on Friday night. I like the Tigers to continue their dominance today, especially on a fast track like Syracuse.
