Buffy the Vampire Slayer Actor Nicholas Brendon Arrested for Alleged 'Violent' Attack on Girlfriend

Buffy The Vampire Slayer star Nicholas Brendon has been arrested for domestic violence against his girlfriend, it has been reported.

According to information provided by the Palm Springs Police Department, Brendon pulled his girlfriend's arm, then violently pulled her by her hair following an argument.

When she got up to leave he allegedly grabbed her by the arm and yanked so that she would sit back down.

Sgt William Hutchinson of the Palm Springs Police Department told the Desert Sun that the woman, who hasn't been named, has active protective orders against the actor in NY and Florida. The orders apparently allow the 46-year-old actor to be near her, but prohibit him from threatening, harassing, injuring or assaulting her.

It's not the first mugshot Brendon has had taken.

In October 2014, Brendon was arrested in Boise, Idaho after witnesses called police officers to report a disturbance involving Brendon and hotel employees.

Brendon has been arrested and charged previously with felony third-degree robbery, criminal mischief, felony vandalism and malicious injury. Earlier that year he was booked for vandalising a hotel room in Tallahassee after being denied an upgrade, as well as Fort Lauderdale hotel room whereby he was arrested on suspicion of grand theft. A month later he was arrested in Tallahassee Florida on almost identical charges. "It culminated yesterday with my taking some sleeping pills and then going into a blackout".

Brendon appeared on chat show Dr. Phil twice that year to discuss his arrests and issues with depression and addiction, and checked himself into rehab for 90 days. In 2015, Brendon appeared on an episode of 'Dr.

Brendon has appeared in all 145 episodes of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer".
