British national arrested for sodomising visually-impaired kids in Delhi objectionable videos seized

India's police have arrested a British citizen for allegedly sexually abusing three blind students at a school in the Indian capital, police said Tuesday.

A police source said one staff member of the NAB was an eyewitness to the crime committed by the accused and he immediately complained to the police and after registering a case under sections of the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences Act and arrested him.

Reports said the police had found "objectionable photos of 15-20 children from the laptop of the British national".

Police said Mr Ward, who is married with a family in the United Kingdom, had been employed in a senior managerial position at Sterlite Technology Limited in Gurgaon until April 2017.

The accused was associated with the National Association for the Blind as a regular donor for nearly nine years. He had suffered a paralytic attack in February this year.

His mobile phone contained objectionable video clippings featuring minors, which were under investigation, the officer added. "Murray was produced in a court on Monday and has been sent to two-day police custody", police said.

"A PCR call was received at PS RK Puram on 03/09 at noon hours regarding sexual harassment of minor kids at National Association for the Blind, Sector 5, RK Puram".

NAB has been working since 1979 for visually impaired persons.

The police also recorded the statement of the survivors who were taken for a medical examination.
