Tune In Sunday For Live WWE 'No Mercy' Results And Recap

WWE Raw 08212017

While it's clear that his outside commitments are why this match is happening at No Mercy, the 16-time world champion has now also admitted that's the case. But a Bray Wyatt win might be a good surprise.

Justin LaBar: I agree mostly Roman gets the victory and it wouldn't make sense for Cena to win.

Cena's responded by bringing up Reigns' suspension for failing a drug test past year and how the fans constantly boo him despite being the recipient of many big pushes from WWE. The two have warned and attacked each other since. Just nobody had the nuts to bring it out of him, nobody. Roman Reigns is set to square off against Cena to prove that WWE ring is really his yard.

Should Cena vs Reigns have been saved for a bigger PPV?

At SummerSlam, The Miz didn't defend the Intercontinental Championship and was very vocal about how much he hated that. Thankfully, Kurt Angle has a proxy in the form of his kayfabe son Jason Jordan, who's still trying to find his footing as a blue-chipper on RAW.

I don't expect it to be a five-star match, and I think we can say the same for Cena-Reigns, but I don't think any of us even wants that out of either match.

A few weeks ago, Amore made his Cruiserweight debut on 205 Live. If he's going to drop the belt, WWE better make it count. I know that it didn't come from anybody else but him. No matter how little he wrestles, Lesnar is still the most recognizable name in WWE. Cena won his first title at WrestleMania 21, with a win over JBL.

Unfortunately for Amore, it is very hard to cheat and win a championship unless there is some outside interference.

Their rule just started a month back at SummerSlam, and having Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins driving the label group division for some time is the brilliant move.

The victor of this match depends entirely on whose angle this really is. Alexa Bliss will have to out wit four other women if she wants to keep her RAW Women's Title, Jason Jordan has a shot at Miz's Intercontinental Title, and Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins will put their RAW Tag Team Titles on the line against the former champs Cesaro and Sheamus. Of course, Banks would then have another rematch of her own, which she cashed in for Hell in a Cell.

However, having said that I think the victor of this match was always going to be Nia Jax. He competed for it at SummerSlam in the Fatal Four-Way but didn't succeed.

There is only a 20% chance that Alexa Bliss is walking out of No Mercy still the champion, so there will probably be a new titleholder by the end of this match.

This is the second "WrestleMania worthy" match of the show, and it lives up to that claim.

Amusing thing, but whether it's the booking or just the way it's working out, Reigns hasn't been able to live up to his side of this feud, basically letting Cena run laps around him on the mic, adding intrigue to how WWE will book this one for Sunday night when we get actual action in the ring.

It is the year of Braun Strowman, and this is the ideal way to continue his incredible journey.
