Stranger Things' David Harbour is unrecognizable in our first look at Hellboy

First Images Of Hellboy From Upcoming Reboot Are Amazing

Mignola and Harbour themselves make the whole situation even more exciting, with the creator reposting the Lionsgate-posted image and the actor tweeting out a black-and-white snap of the demonic not-so-superhero in a different position. In the caption, Harbour introduces Hellboy with the opening lyrics from The Rolling Stones' iconic song "Sympathy for the Devil": "Please allow to introduce myself, I'm a man of wealth and taste..." The movie's cast includes David Harbour as Anung Un Rama (Hellboy), Ian McShane as Trevor Bruttenholm, Sasha Lane as Alice Monaghan, Penelope Mitchell as Ganeida, Daniel Dae Kim as Benjamin Daimio, and Milla Jovovich as the Blood Queen.

This will be the third live-action Hellboy film, following the Guillermo del Toro-directed, Ron Perlman-starred Hellboy in 2004 and Hellboy II: The Golden Army in 2008. Harbour previously stated that Hellboy (the reboot's official title) will deviate from the cliches of the modern superhero movie genre.

Beyond the four Omnibus collections, Dark Horse has also announced a companion series, Hellboy: The Complete Short Stories, which will feature shorts written by Mignola and illustrated by artists including Gabriel Ba, Fabio Moon and Richard Corben.

"Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen" doesn't as yet have a concrete release date, but is now slated for sometime in 2018.
