Simran vs Lucknow Central box office collection updates are here

The end result is so resolutely bland and forgettable that the cast and crew probably expended more sheer effort staging all of the scenes

The film is written and directed by Ranjit Tiwari. The movie begins with a day in the life of the Kishan Mohan Girhotra (the character played by Farhan Akhtar), a Moradabad guy.

Things begin to settle down a bit for the audience with his run-in with the jailor (anover-the-top Ronit Roy) and when he begins to form a music band with other inmates - Dikkat Ansari (Inaamulhaq), Victor Chattopadhyay (Deepak Dobriyal), Purushottam Pandit (Rajesh Sharma) and Parminder (Gippy Grewal). Diana Penty is playing a role of an NGO worker her name is Gayatri Kashyap in the film. In the film, Kishen's world turns upside down when he is falsely accused of a murder and is sent to Lucknow Central jail.

The film received below average opening at the box and running slow in the theaters. Let's have a look at the second day box office collection of Simran and Lucknow Central. Ranjit Tiwari's directorial film Lucknow Central is expected to complete its winning first weekend run with a good amount. However, the film is generating the best business among all three Bollywood flicks released on this Friday. Lucknow Central clashed with Kangana Ranaut's Simran at the box office and earned lesser than the latter. Simran didn't receive much positive reviews and thus, there has been a poor box office collection. On its opening day, Lucknow Central saw fewer footfalls in theatres and minted Rs 2.04 crore.

Lucknow Central is a better take on a story nearly similar to that of the recent release, Qaidi Band. Stay tuned with us for more Bollywood updates and box office report, you can share your views with us in the comment section below.
