Simran Or Lucknow Central? Guess Which Film Won The Box Office Battle!

'Simran' effect! Kangana gets 'Thumbs Up', while director Hansal Mehta exits Twitter for an hour!

The two films have been faring at parity at the Box Office.

Well, hope is not really lost for Kangana Ranaut's Simran, given that it has only been about 4 days since its release.

The film starring Kangana as a free-spirit woman, the film is getting ample love from the fans.

On the opening day of Simran, Filmmaker Hansal Mehta deleted his Twitter account and made the comeback hours later thanking viewers for the response. Since the release date, "Lucknow Central" and "Simran" have been giving tough competition to each other in terms of Box Office collection.

Simran has so far grossed a little above Rs 13 crore in the Indian market. "#Simran Fri 2.77 cr, Sat 3.76 cr, Sun 4.12 cr, Monday 1.41 cr, Tue 1.25 cr".

Film and trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, had tweeted that the movie needs to do even business to make a respectable earning.

Earlier, it was rumoured that Mehta was unhappy with Kangana for reportedly taking the attention away from the film by speaking about her personal issues on public platforms. Although, Simran is carrying its momentum forth, the weekday collections are not making much of a difference to its total earnings, considering it is not much to begin with. Friday 2.04 cr, Sat 2.82 cr, Sun 3.56 cr.

Kangana's Simran is expected to gross around Rs. 15 crores within six days, the film is supposed to end its very first week on a quite decent note.
