MAZE RUNNER: THE DEATH CURE Drops Action-Packed First Trailer

First 'Maze Runner: The Death Cure' Trailer Reveals the Trilogy's Concluding Installment

Following yesterday's teaser, here's the first trailer for 20th Century Fox's upcoming dystopian sci-fi Maze Runner: The Death Cure.

Maze Runner: The Death Cure is directed by franchise helmer Wes Ball and also features Kaya Scodelario, Ki Hong, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Giancarlo Esposito, Aidan Gillen, Barry Pepper, and it sounds like Will Poulter will be coming back for the concluding chapter of this trilogy as well.

Production was shut down on the third film, and the release date was delayed, after O'Brien was seriously injured in an accident on set a year ago.

In the epic finale to the Maze Runner saga, Thomas leads his group of escaped Gladers on their final and most unsafe mission yet.

A screengrab from "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" that stars Dylan O'Brien. Whatever the case, it certainly looks as though fans won't be disappointed, and it's nice to see the same director sticking with a franchise from beginning to end. Lead actor Dylan O'Brien was injured on set, thankfully nothing life-threatening, but enough to halt production and change what was an originally planned release date of February 2017 to now be released in 2018.

Directed by Wes Ball the sequel to the 2015 film Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, the Maze Runner The Death CureFollows the Gladers on their final and most unsafe mission yet. Death Cure will see Thomas leading his group of escaped Gladers as they break into the Last City, a labyrinth containing the answers to all their questions.
