Magnitude-3.6 quake hits Los Angeles

According to the United States Geological Survey, the quake hit the Westwood Village area around 11:20 p.m. local time with SoCal residents feeling tremors everywhere from Los Angeles to Costa Mesa, Upland, the Pacific Palisades and more.

"Just a very sharp but pronounced jolt", co-anchor Chuck Henry added.

Earthquake-hardened veterans commented on social media, including some in Hollywood.

On Monday, a 3.3-magnitude natural disaster hit Park City, just six miles outside of Lambs Canyon, according to the Deseret News.

Actor Josh Gad joked that he probably should have checked on his kids, but he scrolled through Twitter instead.

Reeves said the natural disaster was "fairly small" and was unlikely to cause serious damage.

Former CBS "Late Late Show" host Craig Ferguson said on Twitter that the rumble had him "sitting up in bed with an automatic weapon waiting for zombies".

No reports of injuries or damage were immediately reported.

According to the USGS, the quake happened at 6:47 am, Tuesday, near Albion, Illinois. That's about 145 miles west of Louisville.
