Lalu & son may skip CBI questioning

Busy with fodder scam cases Lalu won’t appear for CBI questioning in hotel-for-land scam

Reacting to Yadav's harsh criticism of Nitish Kumar during his rally in Bhagalpur where he did not hold back anything, Singh advised Lalu Prasad Yadav and his son and former Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Yadav not to cross the proverbial "Laxman Rekha" when talking about Nitish Kumar or else it could badly backfire on him.

The Income Tax Department has issued a final attachment order against some assets in connection with its benami deal probe against RJD chief Lalu Prasad and his family.

The beneficiary of most including the plots in Bihar and the house in Delhi is Tejashwi Yadav, Lalu Yadav's son, who is also seen as his political heir.

The RJD has been asserting that Nitish and his deputy Modi, have links to the Srijan scam and has sought their resignation. "But we will not sit silent and have chose to intensify the agitation to expose their involvement in the scam before 11 crore people of Bihar", the RJD leader said.

Some at CBI are convinced that the RJD leaders are trying to slow down the investigation in the land scam case, says a media report. Nitish Kumar's politics is full of misdeeds he added.

At the rally, the RJD president announced to bring all the top opposition leaders across the country at a single platform and launched a concerted battle against the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. "Those who have documents on Srijan can cooperate with the CBI". So far 20 people have been arrested related to the scam and more than 24 FIR's have been filed in connection with the scam including 10 FIR's by CBI.

A Bhagalpur NGO named Srijan Mahila Sahyog Samiti, on the pretext of several welfare schemes, had embezzled crores of money from different accounts of district administration with the alleged help of government officials and bank staff. Attacking the BJP Party Tejashwi said that the Srijan Scam in Bihar is bigger than the Vyapam scam in Madhya Pradesh and both the scams took place under the rule of the BJP government in both the states. If he has any proof against the Chief Minister what is stopping him from making them available to the CBI?
