Juggalo, Pro-Trump And Anti-Trump Groups To Converge In DC Saturday

Pro-Trump rally draws hundreds not thousands to Washington

There was plenty of talk about the protest on Twitter, and tweets under the "Juggalo March" hashtag voiced support for them, along with the addition of a healthy dose of humor to the mix.

The march is just the latest step taken by ICP and its fans to fight their designation by USA authorities as a "loosely organized hybrid gang".

The Insane Clown Posse filed a lawsuit against both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Justice Department in 2014, demanding for the Juggalos to be removed from the list.

Insane Clown Posse members' Joseph Bruce aka Violent J (left) and Joseph Utsler wil be joined by thousands of juggalos at the D.C. rally.

The rally will begin at noon at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool and then travel to the memorial's plaza.

The self-described Mother of All Rallies, created to support President Trump and "defend American culture", was staged on the National Mall late Saturday morning.

I am in full support of @icp and the #juggalomarch The FBI should remove the gang tag immediately.

A judge dismissed the lawsuit initially saying the case was problematic because "the report did not directly order police and other officials to any particular action against the Juggalos", according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Wrapping around those events will be the annual Fiesta D.C. parade celebrating Latino culture.

Nearby, on the National Mall, about 500 Trump supporters assembled for a separate all-day demonstration and concert, though organizers predicted that number would grow as the day progressed. Because the events happened near one another, many waited with anticipation to see if the two groups might collide.

Saturday was a busy day in the nation's capital. "We just want them to empathise", he continued, adding that while some fans may have committed crimes as individuals, it was unfair to paint the entire community with the same brush.

There are more Juggalos marching today against Trump than pro-Trump folks marching in their "Mother of All Rallies".

The Mother of All Rallies Patriots Unification Gathering will take place at the National Mall near the Washington Monument from 10 a.m. ET to 5 p.m. ET.

"(Like) other musical fan bases, the vast majority of Juggalos have nothing to do with criminal activity", the most recent legal brief said, "let alone organized crime". However, they intend to march anyway.

Protesters march from the White House to the Russian ambassador's residence in Washington, Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, during a rally encouraging President Donald Trump and House Speaker Paul Ryan to defend American democracy from Russian interference.

Attendees of the Juggalo march shared stories of discrimination online.

"We represent people who weren't born with a silver spoon in their mouth but instead with a rusty fork", one member of the group, Violent J, said during an interview in 1995.

The event will feature speeches interspersed with performance by affiliated acts, concluding with a performance by Insane Clown Posse from 9-10PM.
