Inter Milan Hoping To Sign Mesut Ozil In January

The West Brom midfielder looks certain to pass Ryan Giggs appearance record

The 28-year-old German genius is reportedly keen on a reunion with Jose Mourinho, although Express reports of interest from Turkey as well.

Fenerbahce will launch an ambitious move for Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil if Ali Koc wins the club's presidency.

In fact, his form has closely resembled that of the North Londoners throughout his stint at the Emirates.

In all, Ozil had a modest return - by his lofty standards - of 12 goals and 14 assists in 44 appearances across all competitions to show for his efforts.

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has lauded Mesut Ozil as the Gunners' most technical and influential player; however, he has questioned the German internationals performances, suggesting he could do more for the team.

The Sunday Mirror claims that the Germany worldwide will opt to run down his contract, which expires next summer, and the midfielder's camp have already been in touch with United to sound out a potential move to Old Trafford. The report claims that Ozil's advisors have sent out feelers over a possible switch to Old Trafford, and the immediate feedback has been positive.

"And, believe me, that's a huge amount".

The Arsenal playmaker's contract expires at the end of the season - and speculation is beginning to mount as to where the World Cup victor will end up. It now remains to be seen if the report indeed turns out to be true.

Jose Mourinho was the manager who signed Ozil at Real Madrid and he shares a good relationship with the player.
