Huawei Mate 10 Lite Leak Reveals FullView Display, Four-Camera Setup

This is the 18:9, quad-camera Huawei Mate 10 Lite

The company will conduct an event on October 16th to unveil the Huawei Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro and the Mate 10 Lite.

Supposedly code named Rhone, the Mate smartphones with the Lite suffix are less-expensive and less-premium versions of their flagship predecessors.

According to a new report from a reliable tipster Evan Blass, he has revealed that Mate 10 series will also include a new smartphone which will be dubbed as Huawei Mate 10 Lite. For being the cheapest device in the lineup, the Lite brings a surprising amount of interesting hardware, including an 18:9 "FullView" display (Huawei's first) and a quad camera setup. There will be a 16MP + 2MP dual camera setup on the rear and a 13MP + 2MP dual camera setup on the front for selfies. The Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro, on the other hand, have been spotted online bearing what might be the actual prices of the handsets.

The Mate 10 Lite will have 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel cameras on the back, while up front, the device will have 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel cameras. The front camera will be able to get a two-person "bokeh effect".

Huawei has not made an official announcement yet but we're only waiting for the Mate 10.

In any case, talking about the Mate 10 Lite, this smartphone will likely come with a 5.9-inch 1,080x2,160 display with 18:9 aspect ratio which further makes for an 83-percent screen-to-body ratio in a full-metal, unibody enclosure.

Power will come from an octa-core 2.36GHz Kirin 659 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage - not earth-shattering by any means, but plenty powerful.

Powered by Android 8.0 Oreo, the Huawei Mate 19 Lite is reportedly going to start shipping in November for around $450. When it comes to storage space, the Mate 10 Lite has 4GB RAM with 64GB storage.

The Huawei Mate 10 Lite will be equipped with four cameras, two on the back and another two up front. It will pack a 3340 mAh battery which will support Fast Charging to quickly juice up your phone.

The phone will be launched on October 16 and will come with a price tag of around $450 Dollars.
