Heat, humidity and isolated showers dominate the day

Wednesday's forecast calls for sunny skies with a high of 79 and an overnight low of 47.

Saturday night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Friday Night: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 87. Northwest winds will again range from 15 to 25 miles per hour in the evening. Cloudy, with a low around 47. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 46.

Sunday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 84.

Temperatures will rise for the rest of the week and into the weekend, with highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s Thursday through Saturday, according to the weather service. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 75.
