Florida Atlantic is coming off a disappointing loss to Navy in the first week. The team hopes he can bring the offensive acumen he honed as the offensive coordinator at Alabama from 2014-2016.

· UW has won 20 of its last 24 games (.833), dating back to the 2015 season.

Even though Florida Atlantic didn't deploy its base 4-2-5 defense during its season-opening 42-19 loss to Navy, the Owls were still able to glean a bit about their defense. Their most recent season ended in a 3-9 record, which was the same record that they held for 2014 and 2015.

Against Utah State last week Taylor led the way with 87 yards and a score on 9 carries while Shaw rushed for 84 yards and a TD on 18 carries. Their defense had no answers against the Midshipmen and will probably have to deal with more of the same against the Badgers.

- FAU linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair said he was playing in the middle this week, but said the Owls would mostly be using him and Hosea Barnwell as their linebackers against Wisconsin.

Start fast: UW's offense foundered early in the opener against Utah State, generating a combined 7 yards on 11 plays on its first three possessions.

After everything they've experienced this week and the unknowns they'll face ahead, Florida Atlantic's players remained optimistic and hopeful. Quintez Cephus had almost 40 yards and a touchdown catch. Not only can they devastate defenses through the air, their running game is also strong.

"And that's not because of adding players, it's because of our current players getting a lot better and our coaches doing a great job with them", Kiffin said. Although, they allowed the Aggies to complete over 60 percent of their passes.

Prediction: Wisconsin wins against the spread.

But FAU couldn't get anything going in the second half offensively to challenge Wisconsin, stalling potential drives with penalties and miscommunication. The over/under total for the contest is listed at 59.5 points.

These two teams have not met before during the regular season, and this will be the second non-conference game that the Badgers will play this fall. Of course, the game going on as planned will all come down to how much damage is done along the Florida coast.
