Could Rest Disadvantage Affect Cowboys Against Rams?

11:30am

The Dallas Cowboys are back on the field getting ready for their fourth game of the season.

The Rams, under first-year Head Coach Sean McVay, bring their new-look and league-leading offense to Dallas this Sunday.

"You have to be disruptive and you have to stay on him", Barwin said of stopping Prescott. "I think one of the things that our guys have done a great job with and really, you go to our alumni association embracing the past and you do some different things where I think that's what's so special about this game, is appreciating the guys that have done it before these players and made the Rams what they are".

Phillips would lead the Cowboys to two playoff appearances, even earning an extension from Jones in 2009.

The Cowboys rose, still arm-in-arm, and stepped back to the sideline as the flag was unfurled across the field, followed by Jordin Sparks singing the anthem. "They did not seem distracted to me". It's all about how you play and who you're playing, too. From 2012-14, though, he missed 31 games - including a season-nullifying injury in 2014 - but the now-31-year-old linebacker bounced back to earn a first-team All-Pro honor in 2016 and consecutive Pro Bowls.

Through three games of the season the Rams have given up an average of 344 yards and 25 points per game. The Cowboys are also 2-1 now after their 28-17 victory over Arizona where Prescott threw for 183 yards on 12 of 18 successful passes which netted him 2 touchdowns. Receiver Dez Bryant carried several defenders into the end zone with a helpful push from center Travis Frederick. Though Elliott was never charged by police and the NFL's lead investigator Kia Roberts reportedly was silenced for recommending no suspension, National Football League commissioner Roger Goodell still imposed the ban after he decided there was "persuasive evidence supporting" Tiffany Thompson's allegations of domestic abuse.

That said, this isn't Week 14 but rather just Week 4.

The Los Angeles Rams are not expected to take part in any specific team-wide demonstrations before Sunday's road game against the Dallas Cowboys.

The Dallas coach praised his team's ability to balance game preparation with multiple discussions over the Trump-fueled issues, despite the slow start. I think we'll get better in some of the areas we need to, but we'll find out. "But we were real pleased with how our team fought and kept battling". And a near-repeat in the first half against the Cardinals. Phillips said he retains "fond memories" of his time with Dallas, one of his 10 stops in the NFL. "You know they get talked about a lot rightfully so for how good they are upfront, and if we want to be talked about in the same way, this is when you show it and play well". "If I had a vendetta against ... any team that fired me, I'd have a quarter of the league".
