Bhoomi box office collection day 1: Sanjay Dutt film will open well

In his first film after spending four years in jail for firearms offences, Sanjay Dutt takes the law into his own hands in "Bhoomi" to punish the men who raped his daughter. But due to the script of the film, it was not possible for the directors to portray him in that song says, Umang Kumar, while talking to BBC. It is slated to release on Friday, along with Apoorva Lakhia's crime biopic Haseena Parkar, Amit V Masurkar's black comedy Newton and Dhwanil Mehta's horror film The Final Exit.

"I´m very excited to see "Bhoomi". Co-producer Sandeep Singh adds, "Baba (Sanjay Dutt) chose to do Bhoomi because he believed in the story and it is that sincerity that audiences will see on screen". It does have hype and promotion in its favour but the other three can still give it a run for its money. By this weekend, the film will probably garner Rs 12 crore.

The film is supposed to collect good bucks for the makers on the opening day and the upcoming days' box office collection will be good for sure. The Puja holidays will only ensure Bhoomi's chances of survival at the box office. Arun owes a shop of a shoe store in the city along with this Arun is famous for selling some jokes on drinks with his whiskey-buddy Taj (the role played by the Shekhar Suman) and he is a tour guide.

The wait to watch Dutt on the big screen has been worth it. The western media has already praised the film. "It is a hard hitting story with its heart in the right place".

The film opens with a fantastic occupancy all over the country and it seems like the craze for this actor and his latest film may break some of the past records. Maybe he needs something much better told to vent his anger. "That would be a real comeback". However, in the movie, Sanjay Dutt is doing an age-appropriate role and he has put a lot of efforts to play this role.
