The Apple Watch Series 3 will thus become closer to the serious health-tracking device that Apple marketed the smartwatch as from day one.

The smart watch will also notify users when it detects you have an elevated heart rate even if you aren't actually being active. Orders will begin on September 15, while the Series 3 will be officially available to buy on September 22.

But the real story here is Apple Watch Series 3, which is the first line of Apple Watch devices to feature built-in cellular. With an LTE-capable Apple Watch Series 3, you can place calls using your Apple Watch.

Music improvement, intelligent Siri face, etc., are other features of the new watchOS and Apple Watch Series 3.

There are two versions of Series 3: One with cellular ($399) and one without ($329). Australia to get Apple Watch September 22 with Telstra, Optus and Vodafone supporting cellular connectivity.

It might look the same, but the latest smartwatch from Apple sounds like it will be a lot more powerful. The original Series 1 will remain in the line at $249.

This would not only make it easy to connect to the charger, but also mean you could charge the Watch while it's lying at an angle, so you could for example use it as a bedside clock. September 19 is the watchOS 4 release date.
