Antonio Conte speaks out about Alvaro Morata after Chelsea batter Stoke

Man City set 59-year first with Crystal Palace demolition

Stoke are the only team to take a point of free-scoring Manchester United so far after Jose Mourinho's side were forced to settle for a 2-2 at the bet365 Stadium.

Antonio Conte's men went into the game looking to keep the pressure on the two Manchester clubs above them and went in front inside the first two minutes with their first attack through Morata.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte: "I think Alvaro played very well and he took his goals very well, which for a striker is very important".

And Morata then made it six goals in as many Premier League appearances for Chelsea as he sealed his hat-trick with eight minutes remaining.

Kurt Zouma has impressed during his time at Stoke.

Morata ran from the half-way line and beat Darren Fletcher before dinking a delightful third goal over goalkeeper Jack Butland.

After a spell of relative quiet, Chelsea pounced to make it two on the half-hour mark.

However, former Manchester United captain Ince doesn't expect Chelsea to suffer the same fate as their title rivals on Saturday. A clash in the Diouf and he went down holding his face despite there being no contact.

Moments after collecting a yellow card early in the second half following a challenge on Joe Allen, Chelsea's Marcos Alonso provoked loud appeals for a red from Stoke fans as he brought down Mame Diouf.

Stoke continued to press, with Fletcher's poor afternoon continuing as he somehow failed to convert Shaqiri's deep free-kick from six yards. This time Johnson was guilty, his error allowing the Spain striker to gather possession just inside the Stoke half, charge into the box nearly unchallenged and beat Butland from a tight angle.

"It's great he got a hat-trick".

On a positive note, Hughes won't have to contend with Diego Costa, who arrived in Spain to confirm his Atletico Madrid move, although lamented his departure as "a real shame" and admits he will miss the striker's combative presence in the Premier League.
