Authorities say the emergency room at Exeter Hospital in New Hampshire has been evacuated after an unknown odor was detected. They said about 20 people are being treated in the parking lot.

Fire and police officials were at the scene investigating the incident.

Exeter Hospital said patients were complaining of dizziness in the operating room and they closed both the operating room and the emergency room as a precaution until it can determine the source.

Multiple ambulances were lined up outside the emergency room, local media reported.
