The Third Nintendo World Championships Will Be Held In October

Nintendo Bringing Back The World Championships In October

The first event was launched in 1990 in the Fair Park's Automobile Building in Dallas, Texas, which visited twenty-nine cities in the United States.

While this is sure to smoothen out the experience for those who find themselves racing online with others a lot, it's not quite as noticeable as the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's previous update which changed the items that players at the back of the pack would get in order to balance the race out.

Nintendo has released Mario Kart 8 Deluxe update 1.2.1 for the Nintendo Switch which seems to address only one issue.

The 2015 event was a very nostalgic affair, but Nintendo is looking to the future now as it fosters the upcoming generation of potential loyal Mario fans. Those aged 13 and above will race on Bowser Castle 1 as Bowser with the identical cart configurations.

According to reports, the Nintendo World Championship 2017 will be held on october 7 at Manhattan Center's Grand Ballroom in NY. One victor from each age bracket will qualify for an invitation to the final event. Those just wanting to scope out the action without getting too competitive will also have the opportunity to play both Super Mario Odyssey for Switch and Metroid: Samus Returns for 3DS while all of the action goes on around them. Younger players will be restricted to Mario, while the older players will be racing as Bowser.

Probably the rarest and the most valuable cartridges released for the NES gaming console, the Nintendo World Championships cartridge is coveted by collectors and game fans alike.
