Taylor Swift's social media accounts go dark

Taylor Swift has just been victorious over her sexual harasser, DJ Mueller, who was photographed with his hand on her bottom during a photo session at his radio station.

However, fans were taken aback when they noticed that the star had deleted nearly all of her social media.

The acclaimed five piece's official website disappeared and then came the social media pages - with individual tweets by both the band's official account, as well as Thom Yorke's own personal Twitter account, slowly being deleted and their Facebook and Google+ pages systematically stripped.

Taylor Swift has deleted all of her Instagram posts, fuelling excitement that a new album is imminent. "TAYLOR SWIFT IS COMING", one Twitter user wrote. Her old Tumblr posts are gone; her infamous Instagram is empty. Could she be replacing her profile pictures with imagery from an upcoming album?

Also, just want to point out that August 18th, 2014 is the day she announced her 1989 album.

Ed Sheeran told the BBC in March that his close friend Taylor Swift wouldn't release new music "until probably the end of this year". "She's continuing down the pop route because 1989 was a huge success and fans really gravitated toward that album".

And another claimed the JavaScript for her website seemed to hint the single has something to do with the blackout because the code quotes her hit single Blank Space and says, "I've got a black space".

A rep for Swift did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.
