SNES Classic Edition Display Frames - Every Border and Filter

Nintendo also released a cool trailer video for the Super NES Classic highlighting new unannounced features of the new retro console. Thankfully, the SNES mini has a useful gameplay rewind feature to help smooth our nostalgia trip.

It's a bit like Forza, basically. The console will also offer four gameplay suspend points. One of the things you might not realise is that SNES games rendered at a resolution far lower than what we're used to in modern games. Action focused titles like Super Mario World can be rewound for about 40 seconds, while RPGs, such as Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, can be rewound a number of minutes.

This feature, as well as the ability to choose different visual frames for the included games, were unveiled at gamescom this morning. You can see all of these features, plus get a close look at the console itself, in this new trailer.

It lets players rewind their gameplay to try hard sections again or find items you missed.

Nintendo opened up pre-orders of its Super NES Classic Edition on, much to the delight of gamers.
