Rapper "Mystikal" turns himself in on rape warrant


Over the weekend, police in Shreveport, Louisiana issued an arrest warrant for the rapper in connection with an alleged rape in the city on October 2016.

Holman was arrested in Killeen, Texas on Friday (Aug. 18) by U.S. Marshalls. The rapper was in Shreveport-Bossier area past year for the "Legends of Southern Hip-Hop" concert.

Mystikal fans are no doubt thinking, "Not again?!"

Investigators reportedly collected evidence at the scene matching Michael Tyler (Mystikal) and 26-year-old Averweone Holman.

Tyler surrendered to authorities this afternoon at the Caddo Correctional Facility, where he is being held on $2 million bond.

Banks, who Phillips said was arrested on charges of assaulting an officer, was not in the Bell County Jail records Monday.

This morning, reports flew in saying that police are searching for rapper Mystikal on rape charges.

Mystikal initially denied the charges against him, but would later plead guilty after police received video footage of the incident.

Wafford faces an accessory charge. Wafford bail was set to much lower than the two men at $200,000.

Mystikal is known for his work with rapper Master P (Percy Miller) and his top twenty hits "Shake Ya Ass/Shake It Fast" and "Danger (Been So Long)" both released in 2000.

Mystikal had previously spent six years in prison for sexual battery before being released in 2010.
