Micromax has launched its new smartphone Micromax Canvas Infinity in its Canvas series of smartphones. The screen has an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset, coupled with Adreno 308 GPU and 3GB of RAM. The phone runs Android Nougat out-of-the-box, but it is guranteed to receive Android Oreo when available, which is great news for buyers. It also has a fingerprint sensor located on the back panel. Overall, Micromax is relying heavily on the design and camera aspects of the Canvas Infinity, which is a sound plan as it hits the basic requirements of average consumers.

The phone has 32GB of storage with the option to expand storage up to 128GB.

As is the case with the LG Q6, the higher cost of the extraordinary aspect ratio of the screen of the Micromax Canvas Infinity is offset with lower specifications. This phone has slots for two SIM cards and one dedicated slot for microSD card. On the front is a 16-megapixels selfie-shooter with selfie flash and f/2.0 aperture.

Getting into the widescreen game is Micromax with the Canvas Infinity. The first sale will be held at 12 pm IST.

Micromax is also offering a 24-hour service promise on the new Canvas Infinity, i.e. 24 hours fix or replacement promise. There is a 16 MP front camera that offers real time bokeh effect, which blurs the background and sharpens the focus on the object. The camera app also offers auto-HDR modes for both the front and the rear camera. At the back, the smartphone sports a 13-megapixel sensor with flash support and f/2.0 aperture as well.

The phone is packed with a 2900mAh battery and on the connectivity front it supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, AGPS, and micro USB port. The smartphone houses 2,900 mAh battery, which the company claims to offer standby time of 420 hours, talk time of 20 hours, music playback of up to 22 hours and video playback of up to 6 hours. As for the sensors are concerned, it comes with gravity, proximity, light, accelerometer and magnetic sensors. In the last couple of months, we have launched smartphones with Dual cameras, 4000 mAh battery, compelling security features and more, to provide solutions to consumers who use their smartphones as a life hack.

Micromax Canvas Infinity will be competing against the Coolpad Cool Play 6 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4.
