Longmont weather: Sunny skies and highs in the 80s over the weekend

Wednesday weather: Sunny skies, with highs in the mid-80s

Chance of precipitation is 50 percent. If mid-level clouds develop in the afternoon West Michigan may have a more hard time viewing the eclipse. There is increasing confidence that storms should clear most of the area by tomorrow evening with clearing skies and the possibility for some drier conditions before the day is out.

Sunday will be a bit less humid, sunny and warm with highs in the low to mid 80s.

Monday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers & thunderstorms after 1 am.

The high Saturday is expected to be around 80 degrees. Otherwise, the sunshine should dominate our skies, with temperatures bouncing around from a hot and rather humid 90-degrees on Tuesday to refreshingly comfortable 70s later in the week.

A thunderstorm on Friday morning moved north of the central Oklahoma area and then weakened, the National Weather Service reports. Partly sunny, with a high near 89.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear - low around 61.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, breezy, cooler. Northeast wind around 5 miles per hour. Mostly sunny with a high near 95.

Tuesday - A chance of showers and thunderstorms after 9am. Light northwest wind becoming north 8 to 13 miles per hour in the afternoon. There will be a 20 percent chance of rain.

EXTENDED: Eclipse day continues to show the greatest chance for partly cloudy skies, along with a chance for some isolated storms through the morning.

Saturday night: Clear, with a low around 50. Mostly cloudy - low around 75.

Monday Night - A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 87.
