Le'Veon Bell Indicates Return to Steelers on September 1

Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell tweets he'll return Sept. 1

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday that Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell would likely return to the Steelers' backfield sometime next week.

Bell (groin) indicated on his Twitter account that he is planning to report to training camp September 1.

Now we know exactly when Le'Veon Bell plans on ending his preseason holdout.

Bell and the Steelers were unable to reach a deal by the July deadline, so Bell is playing under a $12.1 million franchise tag for the 2017-18 season. "It's just all business, fans don't like to hear that, but that's what it is and Le'Veon chose to do what he did, there was nothing wrong with that because it's all in the collective bargaining agreement", Bouchette said.

"Then he is set to show up, sign his $12.1 million franchise tender and play for his team".

Bell ran for 1,268 yards and scored seven touchdowns on the ground and added 75 receptions for another 616 yards last season. He's our number-two overall player in fantasy this year.
